Commentary on the Consumer Protection Act

The Consumer Protection Act, 1986 touches every citizen, whether one has actually experienced any trial before the courts established there under or not. The present edition is a light reader for all, with selected collection of precedents, over a broad range of subjects, to highlight the reach of the jurisdiction. Due to the “touch-screen” and “plastic-money” convenience availed by the consumers, there are inevitable aberrations and conflicts caused under e-commerce mode trading activity, and the book attempts to touch the transposition of rights and liabilities under this developing domain.
